|
I am in the process of completing a stage 1 install and noticed that the forcedeth driver does not show up in the Tulip section of menuconfig. The install CD uses the forcedeth driver (via lsmod).
Code: |
<*> Reverse Engineered nForce Ethernet support (EXPERIMENTAL) |
Oddly though I can find it by looking directly in the .config file.
What is the method folks are using to compile the forcedeth driver or is there a newer driver?
Also from reading other posts I take it that 'emerge nforce-net' is only for 2.4 kernels, correct?
Thanks,
Fej |

I edited .config manually and now forcedeth shows up.
Is this a bug?
Thanks,
