I have merged the new vanilla-sources-2.6.12, and now sleep seem to works good, but when the machine resume to sleep, pbbuttons stop to works, and if I try to set new pbbuttons values with powerprefs when I close it it say "segmentation fault".

The config I use for this kernel is the same of 2.6.11.

Thank you for answer.

I have the last version:

Code:

pbbuttonsd-0.6.10

(I have the last versione (unstable one) of powerprefs too, but I think it isn't the problem).

I don't think my problem is related with pbbuttons, but with 2.6.12 vanilla I have no backlight control. I've an alubook 15" 1GHz.

Anyone has noticed the same problem?

I have backlight problems after resume frome sleep......

I explain better... all works fine, but when I resume powerbook from sleep, brightness regulation stop to work, and powerprefs go in seg fault; but sound regolation works, and I can see the pbbuttonsd process from the output of ps ax.

If I restart pbbuttons all works fine, powerprefs too.

I saw another problem.... when the powerbook get out of sleep after a long time, the screen brightenss is very very low (no light).

 They solve a problem in 2.6.11 and they intoduce a new one :?

OT: Does someone tried to burn a cd with this new kernel? there were problems with 2.6.11...

The other big problem is that restarting pbbuttonsd the sound level back to 50% every time.

Please help me... I need to work with this powerbook, the kernel 2.6.11 has got burning problems, the 2.6.9 sleep problem, and this 2.6.12 pbbuttons problem.

Any idea?

I fixed the problem downgrading pbbuttons from version "0.6.10" to version "0.6.6"
