Piccola svista, installo in maniera "grezza" un pacchetto che abbisogna di python 2.4 e succede il patatrac, tutto sembra funzionare senza problemi tranne che porthole che dice:

La versione 2.4 di python è masked e quindi è possibile che si siano incompatibilità.

Non ho capito bene cosa hai fatto... hai installato python 2.4 senza usare emerge? Oppure?

oppure smaschera pyxml [0.8.4 mi pare sia l'ultima ... python 2.4 non tollera le versioni precedenti ... o almeno io sono riuscito a risolvere sto problema dopo 1 mese solo così :S]
