kernl 2.6 sound vs ALSA

Dear all,
I have a question, I hope we can discuss it. thanks.

In Kernel 2.6.x, it will have ALSA driver on it, when you select your sound card option on kernel option then after the kerenl 2.6.x started the ALSA driver will load the sound modules automatically. it just driver only.
There will have 4 packages we need in ALSA, alsa-driver, alsa-lib, alsa-utils and alsa-oss. do we need to reinstall the alsa-driver on our system, because the driver already built by kernel 2.6.x, is that good to reinstall the alsa driver for instead the kernel 2.6.x sound driver?

Hi

U don't need the alsa-driver when u use the alsa-driver from the kernel. The other alsa things u can use.
When the Kernel supports your soundcard. I would prefer the kernel one.
