Ciao sto installando lo stage 1 e l'errore mi si ripete anche con lo stage:
tar: Error exit delayed from previous error.
cosa potrebbe essere? |

Che comando stai dando? Sei sicuro di avere seguito correttamente i passi del manuale e non stai cercando di scompattare lo stage su una partizione read-only come il cdrom?

sto seguendo il manuale,e sto installando sull'hard disk, infatti per un pò comincia a scompattare, poi mi esce quell'errore il comando che do è questo:
tar -xvpjpf /mnt/crom/stages/.....................

ce l'hai alla fine della scompattazione dello stage? se nn erro fino a poco tempo fa era "normale", quindi dovresti senza problemi passare avanti e procedere con l'installazione... in ogni caso ti consiglio anche una ricerca per l'errore sul forum

| perfetto ho guardato topic vecchi,si poteva anche far finta di niete dell' errore,bastava non montare il filesystem come diceva la guida 2004!! ora però mi è venuto lo stesso problema quandi installo il portage..! |
