While compiling:
Code: | emerge mozilla-firefox |
I have lost 500mb of free disk space.
Can I delete some tempoary directories? Or something. _________________ Linux - be root; Windows - reboot

When you emerge a package, the tarballs and such are downloaded to /usr/portage/distfiles. This directory can be cleaned out without any adverse effects. Also, the portage works in the /var/tmp/portage/ directory, which can also probably be cleaned out without worries. |
