I installed wesnoth with the following command:

emerge wesnoth.

However, it installed version 0.8.11.

The package database at www.gentoo.net says that the latest version is 0.9.3.

I can't install it no matter what I try. I tried this:

emerge wesnoth-0.9.3, but I get his error:

!!! Problem in games-strategy/wesnoth-0.9.3 dependencies.
!!! "Specific key requires an operator (games-strategy/wesnoth-0.9.3) (try adding an '=')" exceptions

I don't understand, any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. J

nevermind, I needed to emerge --sync.

That fixed it. Thanks.
