Hallo Leute,
ich wollte mal fragen wieso ich nachdem ich Gentoo neuinstallieren will und auch schon emerge --sync und sämtliche ebuild-updates gemacht habe immernoch KDE3.3.2 zum emergen und KDE3.4.1 als masked habe!?Ich bin wohl bemerkt bei der NEUINSTALLATION..also alles müsste aktuell sein. Außerdem kann ich weder KDElibs noch gnome emergen.Beide brechen ab.!?

Ohne die Fehlermeldung vom emerge und den letzten Zeilen der Ausgabe müßte ich meine übersinnlichen Kräfte wieder nutzen, das ist aber bei der Hitze viel zu anstrengend...

du startest den emerge in einem xterm, wartest bis die Fehlermeldung kommt, dann markierst du das betreffende im xterm gehst im Browser ins Eingabefeld und drückst die mittlere Maustaste.

kde-3.4.* ist auch noch masked. Das ist ganz normal.
Das mit dem aktuell sein ist so ne sache. Die Software muss ja zu erst ausreichend getestet sein...

Sieht so aus als würde der Compiler mist bauen, allerdings kann ich mich noch daran erinnern das man bei einem gcc (ich glaub es ist die 3.3.x Reihe) kein pentium4 als keyword benutzen sollten, da der Compiler dann mist baut, bin mir allerdings nichtmehr sicher, evtl hat da jemand anderes ne Idee, bzw. P4 bentuzer vor ;-)

Dann liegt es nicht an der Hardware, wie es in der Fehlermeldung steht. Was für CFLAGS und CXXFLAGS hast du? Evtl. zu harte Flags?

Ich kann komischerweise gar nichts mehr emergen...das ist echt sehr eigenartig..=/ Habe einen P4 und mein Compiler ist gcc....Wenn ich diesen neu emergen will kommt das hier:

mh..daran hats auch nich gelegen.ich habe grade gelesen das portage nur noch den neuen gcc 3.4 unterstützt.ich habe allerdings den gcc3.3.2. Ich kann aber aúch keinen neuen emergen.

Du hast vermutlich deinen derzeitigen Compiler auch mit -march=pentium4 compiliert, dein alter Compiler hat hier wohl oder übel Mist gebaut und jetzt ist dein Compiler hinüber.
