|
|
I have just found out that my PowerBook only supports usb1.1 -ohci- (it's a 17" 1Gz),
so no wonder i've been unable to activate usb2.0 -ehci-.
I get ~700KB/s writespeed to a cruzer-mini-key, is that really all i can hope for??
A little info

writing to those usb sticks is very very slow whether or not u have usb2 support. Reading is faster. I can get up to about 10MB/sec if I read very large amounts of data (for small files, it's very slow). with usb1.1, under ideal circumstances, you'd get 11Mbit/sec which is about 1.25MB/sec. You'll never get this fast so 700KB/sec seems pretty good to me. |
