hda looks like this:
hda2 is /boot ~100mb ext3
hda5 is / ~45gb ext3
hda7 is ~30gb FAT32 (with about half of it used)
I want to resize hda5 to ~8gb, take the unused space and add it to hda7, and then convert hda7 to ext3 or reiserfs (which one is best for downloads, private files and such?)
I would like to know how to accomplish this. Please, remember. Im a noob |

you are looking for a tool colled parted, it's similar to partition magic but a little ( ) less friendly.
emerge parted and check info parted to see what are the limitations of the tool and of each filesystem. _________________ I am Beta, don't expect correct behaviour from me.
