I've got a 9600, and I've never had problems in the past with enabling 3D acceleration, until my latest re-install. I followed the instructions from the gentoo-wiki, just as i've always done, and I can't figure out the problem. Here's all relevant info
dmesg:
Code: | [fglrx] Internal AGP support requested, but kernel AGP support active.
[fglrx] Have to use kernel AGP support to avoid conflicts.

Try adding: Code: | Option "KernelModuleParm" "agplock=0" | after the ForceGenericCPU line. |
