I have updated my nvidia driver to 7664 and everything worked fine yesterday and even after a few restarts... Now today I went and played counterstrike with my coolbits overclocked a bit, all of the pixels were out of place like I could see certain pixels fine but other ones were nuts. I could see through the walls because certain pixels were missing. i logged off thinking it was a cedega issue, I changed a few cedega settings regaurding pixels. None of them helped. I checked nvidia-settings, and turned off overclocking and then ran GLXgears, pixels were missing from that as well. The only thing I have done was download nvidias shell script from their website and used that instead of the portage version.

Notice the pixlation in the green gear.
Any ideas? _________________ The strength of the pack is the Wolf,

Well, either the updated driver is bad or all the overclocking finally damaged your hardware. If reverting to the old driver version does not help, even after you turned your machine off for a while to let the graphics card cool down, then you're probably out of luck. |
