Mam systemik zbudowany na Amd64. Po udanej kompilacji gry: RTCW ET otrzymuje komunikat:
| Code: | | If you are running an amd64 system and using ALSA, you must have ALSA 32-bit emulation enabled in your kernel for this to function properly." |
Moj system:
Linux Jodri 2.6.12-gentoo #6 Fri Jun 24 07:24:43 UTC 2005 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+ AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux
Dzwiekowka zintegrowana z moja plyta:
0 [CK804 ]: NFORCE - NVidia CK804
NVidia CK804 with ALC850 at 0xf0106000, irq 50
Co mam wlaczyc w jadrze aby odpalic w/w gre z dzwiekiem?

AFAIK w jajku w opcjach alsy masz mozliwosc wlaczenia emulacji 32bit.

Niestety nie moge znalezc tej opcji w kernelu. Ponizej zrzut opcji alsy:

Looks OK, just to be sure that lsmod ain't playing with us we will have a look if my
soundcard still is tagged as M in the PCI devices section

Hmmz everything seems to be OK, Allright lets try to recompile the kernel.
Once the kernel is compiled and installed, We do a reboot and tries if ALSA do work.
Nope after the reboot we didn't get any success either.
This is a new fresh install of Gentoo 2005.0 AMD64,
and i gotten no idea why this shouldn't be working. |

Mialem racje brak opcji emulacji 32 bitowej alsy to wina kernela z niestabilnej galezi. Po zainstalowaniu kernela z wersji stabilnej opcja pojawila sie automagicznie. Problem jednak nadal pozostal, pomimo wlaczenia w/w opcji, dzwieku w grze nadal nie mam. Czy ktos mial podobny problem?

Mowisz, ze po wlaczeniu emulacji w kernelu dalej nie ma dzwieku. A sprawdz czy wyskakuje ten blad, czy moze jakis inny?

z wieloma grami jest taki problem, wtedy zamiast et wstawiamy coś innego  odpowiedniego dla danej gry
