I'm planning to create a RAID 0 dual installation of Gentoo and Windows XP, and the question is: is grub able to boot a RAID 0 Windows Partition (not the whole disk will be dedicated to Windows)?

mani001,
Grub cannot boot from RAID 0 at all unless the BIOS presents the raid set as a single drive.
There are patches for Lilo for booting from RAID0.
You will be using dmraid and the gentoo liveCD here http://tienstra4.flatnet.tudelft.nl/~gerte/gen2dmraid/ I suppose? _________________ Regards,
