hi,
m looking for such software
to be able to right-mouse-button on folder and 'add to archive'
i emerged guiTar, its cute but don have needed feature
any suggestion?

I like the archiver-unarchiver nautilus script. It will compress files in a user-selected format (set with a config file) and decompress tar, gz, bz2, rar, and zip. linky
Save it to ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts/ |
