hi

во всеми обожаемой M$ WinDOwS

есть глобальный способ ввобить unicode символы по их hex коду (в 10-чном виде)
пример:

1.
Num lock - on
удерживая Alt + 0174 получаем символ ®
00174=00AEh
(или 00AE потом Alt+X)
2.
вводим 00A5 потом Alt+X получаем символ ¥

для X11 такое описывается стандартом ISO 14755 "ISO 14755 - Input methods to enter characters from the repertoire of ISO/IEC 10646 with a keyboard or other input devices" (возможно и не только x11) нашёл упоминания тут http://www-rocq.inria.fr/qui/Philippe.Deschamp/divers/ALB-CD.html
пример:

Ctrl+Alt+shift+00AE получаем ®
Ctrl+Alt+shift+00A5 получаем ¥

вопрос:
а как зделать чтобы по Alt+X (или подобной комбинации) можно было unicode символ делать (а то ошибиться легко

) ?
