hula ebuild?

hey there!

i tried to install hula by the tared ebuild i found here... http://www.users.on.net/~flynne/linux/hula/index.pl

and now i got the problem: how to extract? it may sound silly but i got only corrupted files...

had anyone the same problem?

Thanks for the response.

I might hold off on hula for now anyway. I was hoping to get calendar charing between Windows and Linux but Outlook is not supported. I already have a working postfix.

I'm trying to use the svn sources as the tarball 109 dies with segmentation fault during compilation. The actual line is mwcomp.c at line 1717:
if (StringData[language][index] == 0) {

For the hulalive ebuild, first you need to emerge 'expect', which will also emerge tcl and tk. This will give you /usr/bin/expect
Then I think need to type:
FEATURES="-sandbox" emerge hulalive
This is because the ebuild tries to write to .svn and .ssh in the root home directory, and the sandbox kills the ebuild at the end of the process before installation. This still dies with an access violation for me so I gave up. I just checked out the sources directly from svn and followed their simple install guide. Works perfectly.
