|
|
I'm trying to find out how I can create a torrent with the following command line bittorrent package.
[ebuild R ] net-p2p/bittorrent-3.4.2-r2
The file that I want to seed/create a torrent of is already on the same server. The box *has NO GUI* at all - only command line access.
Can I do it with just that package? If so, how? I've been searching around here and searching on Google but haven't been successful in my search.
Thanks! |

Man, I suck. I should have asked in #bittorrent first. heh.
For the rest of the class...
btmakemetafile.py
jnichols@clutter ~ $ btmakemetafile.py --help
usage is -
/usr/bin/btmakemetafile.py file trackerurl [params]
--piece_size_pow2 <arg>
which power of 2 to set the piece size to (defaults to 1
--comment <arg>
optional human-readable comment to put in .torrent (defaults to '')
--target <arg>
optional target file for the torrent (defaults to '')
jnichols@clutter ~ $ |

This is interesting. I'm not familiar with bittorrent. Tell me about it. |
