Problems: Firefox PDF, Open Office

Hi,

Three quick questions (hope they fit here):

* I cannot get Firefox (or Epiphany) to display PDF files. They just automatically download them to my home dir. And I HAVE set the "automatic action" for PDF files to "Open with xpdf" (and the bundled PDF viewer). Both these external programs work fine separatelly, I just can't get Firefox to make use of them.

* I cannot get Open Office to make use of my Swedish keyboard, with the special Swedish characters. It works fine throughout the rest of my Gentoo system. I have set the OO language to Swedish, obviously.

* Finally, in Firefox, the "Add engines" function of the "quick search bar" top tight don't work. I find other engines, but they are not added when I click them.

it does work for the root user. however, when i launch firefox from my normal user again, i still can't add engines, and i cannot use the engines that root added... thanks anyway.
