ciao a tutti,
stanotte ho lasciato compilare diversi programmi, tra cui blender, ma si è bloccata la compilazione:

Hai provato ad usare la versione stabile prima ? |

uso ~x86 perché i programmi x86 sono troppo vecchi per i miei gusti

non mi fa vedere nessuna versione più vecchia. vorrà dire che in assenza di altre soluzioni proverò ad aspettare

LOL e quell ~x86 sono troppo instabili per i tuoi gusti ...

1) prova con | Code: | | echo =media-gfx/blender-2.36-r1 >> /etc/portage/package.keywords |
dovrebbe forzare l'uso della versione specificata
2) se provi a postare anche l'errore anche al codice d'errore posso provare a capirci qualcosa.
Inoltre vorrei farti notare che usando la branca di test per ottenere pacchetti nuovi rischi come in questo caso di non saper nemmeno usare quelli vecchi (ma anche a riuscire ad installarli non è detto che funzionino). Chi troppo vuole nulla stringe  |

1) si ostina a voler scaricare l'ultimissima versione
2) tra un po' posto l'errore completo

Strano, non è che nel file package.keywords hai qualche altro riferimento a blender ?
Cmq con

dovresti riuscire a forzare l'installazione ma dovresti poi bloccarlo o al prossimo aggiornamento lo perdi ...
IMHO ti sei complicato la vita usando ~x86, posso capire usare qualche programma test in un ambiente stabile ma tutto l'ambiente test è sconsigliato (a meno che non si sia un programmatore e si voglia contribuire a segnalare i bug) |

Magari gli altri comandi che ti ho dato erano sbagliati 
Ti vorrei far notare che cmq con questo metodo anche quando la versione 2.37 di blender diventerà stabile il tuo sistema continuerà ad usare la 2.36-r1 (quindi dovrai controllare a mano e cambiare la versione quando servirà).
Per adesso ti va bene che hai problemi solo con un pacchetto ma andando avanti probabilmente sorgeranno altri problemi e gestire il sistema diventerà un vero incubo, io ti consiglio di rimettere il sistema stabile. |

non so se serve in questo caso, ma in /etc/portage/package.keywords e' ammessa e consigliata una sintassi del tipo | Code: | | media-video/mplayer -~x86 |
usa solo la versione stabile. -~x86
man portage per ulteriori info, anche package.mask potrebbe essere interessante... |

ok, grazie ancora per gli aiuti.
quando ci saranno aggiornamenti, eseguirò emerge -C blender , seguirò il consiglio di knefas e continuerò a usare tranquillamente blender.
