I have a chaintech vnf3-250 mobo. It comes with a Chaintech Mulmedia Riser card. Basically you plug it into the slot specified for it on the bottom of the mobo. It has spidf, center channel left/right channel connections for 5.1 surround. And a gameport.
Really I'm only interested in getting the gameport to work since it is the only one that comes _with_ the mobo. I tried getting the gameport to work once but didn't notice a driver for it in the kernel. I've tried searching google and chaintech's site. I'm not sure where else to look for info about this expansion card as I can find none. Linux, windows, or otherwise.
Does anyone have one of these currently working in there linux system? It seemed to be plug and play in windows. Or does anyone even know if there is a driver needed or available for it? Thanks. |
