|
|
Hi, when I try to start amule i get the error Code: | amule: error while loading shared libraries: libbfd-2.16.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory |
Whit locate I found that /usr/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/lib/libbfd-2.16.so is a sybolic link to /usr/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/lib/libbfd-2.16.1.so, and I checked that /etc/ld.so.conf contains the directory /usr/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/lib/ (and run ldconfig). Basically my science ends here.
What do you suggest I should do? |

got same error, and fixed it by a dirty symlink
Code: |
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/binutils/i686-pc-linux-gnu/2.16.1/libbfd-2.16.1.so /usr/lib/libbfd-2.16.1.so
|
(update the path where the actual libbfd-2.16.1.so stands...) |

got the same problem and I fixed it by reemerging amule..
problem occurs when you emerge new binutils, and to fix it, just emerge amule again
