ok first of all I dont really use kde, I just emered it for a few nicities such as the kdm, kate and things like that. They dont work real well without kde running though so Im going back to just simple things that I need for the kdm. So I am wondering what I need to use the kdm.
I figured just kde-base and libs, but and unsure and dont want to spend time recompiling things. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. _________________ I do not consider it an insult, but rather a compliment to be called an agnostic. Well you will definately need kdelibs, that is an essential.
Im not 100% certain but I think kdm is actually suplied by kdebase, so you will probably only need that on top of kdelibs.
Code: | emerge kdelibs kdebase |
