Hallo Zusammen !
Wenn ich mich bei kde-3.1(Gentoo 1.4rc2) anmelde bekomme ich immer die Meldung das der dcopserver nicht gestartet werden kann 
Habe nun kde-3.1 2x emerged , habe das Forum und Google durchsucht und alles probiert ,bis jetzt half nichts 
Kann mir jemand bitte helfen?
Bin für jeden vorschlag dankbar

Hallo,
ist Dein bin Verzeichnis vom KDE mit in Deiner PATH Variable?? Wenn nicht, wird es auch nichts mit Deinem dcopserver.

Hallo!!!
besser du löscht das Verzeichnis nicht. Am besten ist es wenn du es umbenennst z.B. ~.kde.old.
Hat den Vorteil das du es durch ein erneutes umbenennen wieder herstellen kannst.

Das ist ein auszug aus meiner .xsessions-errors und igrdenwie glaube ich das hat mit dieser ICE Connection zu tun 
Aber glauben ist nicht wissen weiß es vieleicht einer von euch?

Hallo Allerseits,
das Problem wurde gelöst !!! 
Nachdem ich unter | Code: | | /etc/env.d/01hostname |
noch einmal den hostnamen eingegeben habe funktoniert KDE-3-1 tadellos !
