I have a mini-itx machine dedicated to playing MP3's. It's hooked up to a new 27" standard def TV by s-video. I'd like some recommendations for mp3 kiosk/jukebox style software . These are my requirements.
1) Must be clearly readable from 6 - 10 feet on the TV.
2) Must be completely navigatable by keyboard or remote (no mouse or touchscreen)
3) Must support playlists
Ideally it would also do the following.
1) Can use the filesystem, not a database to keep track of songs.
2) Can be controlled from a web interface.
3) Supports shoutcast
3a) Clean my cat's litterbox.
I'm going to try out PyCar this weekend. http://pymedia.org/pycar/features.html
Any other suggestions?
edit: I've tried MythMusic and I really don't like it. |

maybe mp3blaster, but that may be a little too minimal. |
