Problem with booting AMD64 cd on dual core system.

When i try to install gentoo amd64 livecd on a new Athlon 64 X2 system i only got a little green line in the top of the screen and the computer hang-up. With the x86 cd it works fine but the performence suck :(

The AMD64 cd worked beforce i upgraded my BIOS so it support dual core processors. Do i need to have any special cd for X2 systems or anything ? :?
