I ask that because when at the login screen for KDE , the screen is off center and when I move my mouse over to the right or down the screen moves .
I am using kdm , vga is vga=0x318 in xorg.conf . How do I fix this ? Everything else looks great . Forgive me if I did'nt give enough info . |

This normally happens when you try and set a resolution which the driver can't handle, so it zooms in on a bit of the screen. Try lowering your resolution (I think the vga driver can only go up to 800x600) or switching to a different video driver. |

I got it fixed . It was set to start in 1024x768 using the vga=0x318 and in xorg.conf I had all the resolutions backwardsand it was loading 1024x768 desktop into 640x480 , anyways I reversed those setting in xorg.conf and it looks like its suppose to now .
