gcc freezes when compiling

Hello,

Some while ago I installed Gentoo Linux. Everything went fine and I installed it from stage 3. When I was finished I tried to reinstall all the packages using portage. It went fine too, but after I updated my system for the second time I couldn't install most of my new software anymore. They all give the same src_compile problem.

So I tried to reinstall the glibc, but that one fails too. Then I tried to reinstall gcc, but there's going something weird.

If you think that your toolchain is broken, you can get a rescue tarball from avenj, extract it, and try to reemerge the toolchain.
