Hi leute,
Ich hab hier eine Wireles Karte In meinem VAIO-Centrino-Notebook
"lspci" sagt mir :

dan , hab ich an meinem VGN-FS115M einen MemoryStick reader , der würde mir sehr gelegen
kommen mit meinem handy K750i nur hab ich keine Ahnung wie ich den in betrieb nehmen kann kann mir da wer helfen?

Ad 1) net-wireless/ipw2200 und net-wireless/ipw2200-firmware. Wenn du im deutschen Forum danach suchst finden sich vermutlich auch noch ein paar andere Threads.
Ad 2 und 3: Mach bitte dazu einen eigenen Thread auf (sofern die Suchfunktion nix findet).

jo mach ich, aber ich hab trozdem keinpasendes modul gefunden, hab nirgends beschrieben gefunden welches passt ..
den es müste doch von intel sein, denke ich mal aber ich hab auch nicht ein intel modul gefunden in der wireless kaigorie

ja eigentlich such ich das modul das dazu passt, in der liveCD gab es (theoretisch- da meine wirelesskarte da schon nicht erkannt wurde) mit "net-setup" die möglichkeit ein wireless auszuwählen und zu konfigurieren. nun giebt es unter KDE vieleicht grafisch auch eine soche möglichkeit? (grafisch währe mir lieber - der übersichts halber)
oder wie kan ich möglichst einfach zu meinem AccessPoint (nur wep verschlüsselt) connecten?

1. In der Kernel config wirsd du den treiber für ipw2100 /ipw2200 nicht finden (Ausser du patchst den kernel. Was natürlich auch geht). Das Modul woird von "emerge ipw2200" gebaut.
2. Die zweite Fehlermeldung sollte eigentlich aussagekräftig genug sein

Heißt nur du sollst in der Kernel config den AES aktivieren.

hey, genial, es klappt, danke für deine geduld 
nur was ist die beste möklichkeit meine wirelesskarte zu konfigurieren ,(möglichst grafisch) giebt es da was für kde? ich hab ein Access Point mit einer einfachen wep verschlüsselung und möchte auch auf weiter APs ohne gorssen aufwand conncten können.

sorry, noch mal , ich hab mir grat die etc/conf.d/wireless angesehen, -sorry, wen ich windows als beispiel nehme , aber die hatten im vorinstallierten windows XP sp2 eine gute lösung für wirelessnezwerke, die gefundenen wireless werden schön aufgelistet und man konnte sich so connecten(eventuel auch zu ner web verschlüselung) das gute daran, - bereitz mal verbunndene wireless konnten ohne configuration wider verbunden werden , das find ich erlichgesagt ne gute lösung, das hab ich mit "grafisch" gemeint. wist ihr vieleicht was es da für lösungen giebt die in diese richting gehen?

ich hab mal "wlassistant" gemargt, der is auch ganz in ordnung er findet mein AP und ich kann mich sogar mit meinem schlüssel Connecten , nur ist wlassistant das einzige prog das findetdas ich nun connectet bin eth1 is immer noch "stoped" und pingen kann ich nix nicht mal router. kommisch also wen du mir grat ne lössung für diesen kwifimanager hast, ich würde gern mal den ausprobieren, und, das ganze sollte doch ein prozess sein der fortlaufend nach wireless sucht und sich mit dem Home-wireless oder bekannten wireless automatisch konnectet und das auch beim linux start wie mach ich das ist das so ein /etc/init.d ?

wiso über nimt dieses prog wlassistant die einstellungen die es per dhcp bekomen hat nicht auf eth1 also die wireless kart es sgt mir lediglich das die verbinnding über wlan geklappt hat aber wen ich dan das rj-45 ausziehe ist nix mit netzwerk und internet.
dieses prog das mir empfohlen wurde mach beim emergen ja diesen fehler, ich kan ja wol net das ganze kde network unmergen oder?
