hallo,
gibt es eine seite oder möglickeit zu sehen welche versionen derzeit aktuell sind ? bsp. beim kernel . also ich meine, ohne "emerge sync und dann emerge -vpt ..... " einzugeben. sprich irgendwo auf der hp sehen, wekche pakete maskiert sind und welche noch nicht. |

super danke leute !
kurze verständnissfrage zu etcat :
ich bekomme dort jetzt bei den kernel-sourcen mehrere angezeigt. ein paar in grün das sind ältere , meinen aktuellen in türkis dort steht ein "I" davor und 2 in rot mit einem "M" davor
die beiden roten sind die kernel 2.6.12-r3 bzw. -r4 .
seh ich das jetzt richtig, das das "I" für installiert steht und das "M" für maskiert. sprich ich derzeit den aktuellsten "normal" freigegeben kernel bei mir installiert ? |

etcat zeigt dir den Stand an, der aktuell war, als du das letzte Mal "emerge sync" gemacht hast. Wenn du jetzt nochmal synchronisierst, siehst du, dass die gentoo-sources-2.6.12-r4 nun stable sind. (Falls du die gentoo-sources und Plattform x86 meinst.)
# etcat -v gentoo-sources

Du kennst die Gentoo-netiquette? Mehrmaliges syncen pro Tag sollte man unterlassen.
Daher guck doch in solchen Fällen lieber wie schon geschrieben bei packages.gentoo.org
Da siehst du dann auch links was neu dazugekommen ist.

ja ist mir bekannt, war ja auch nur einmal jetzt  alles unnötiger traffic ist mir bewusst.
aber trotzdem danke nochmal für die hinweise, werde es in zukunft so halten mit den websites |
