|
Hi,
I am traying to install Gentoo under coLinux (in WIndows XP) using Gentoo-colinux-stage3-x86-2004.3 (renamed root_Gento after extraction)
When starting coLinus I either get the error messsage:
CO-RC_ERROR_EROR, line 339, file colinux/user/config.o (64)
with <block_device index="0" path="\DosDevices\C:\coLinux\root_Gentoo" enabled="true"/>
in the default coLinux.xml
or
VFS: cannot open root device "NULL" or unknown-block (0,0)
Please append a correct "root=" boot option
with
<block_device index="0" path="\DosDevices\C:\coLinux\root_Gentoo" enabled="true"/></block_device>
in the default coLinux.xml
Can anyone help ? |

You said more than once that your configfile was "default colinux.xml"
The real file is "default.colinux.xml"
Despite that, how do you start your colinux session? _________________ If it moves, it needs an ebuild.
