Hi,
I just emerged OpenOffice (full compilation) but can't find any other dictionary than English. How can I get / install other dictionaries with the ebuild version of OO ? thanks |

Open writer. File->Autopilot->Install more dictonaries (or similar).
If you also want OpenOffice.org translated to some other language (this is not necessary just to install dictonaries), you have to set the LINGUAS environment variable somewhere and reemerge.
E.g. to have OOo with german translation put this into your /etc/make.conf:
LINGUAS="de"
You probably already set it if you are using KDE. |

Sorry, I don't know if I can help you. Maybe you can find something at the Native Language Confederation Project?
http://native-lang.openoffice.org/
I don't speak any asian languages so I don't know what's available. |
