How can i figure out how much processor/memory a particular user is consuming cummulatively? I know about top and ps, but I need to determine the total amount of resources being consumed. The reason is to determine how much resources are saved running standalone JBossMQ vs the default configuration. I was able to determive via `ps -U jboss | wc -l` that the difference in processes is 77v46, but I need some summary information.
Thanks for your answers! |

I think you're looking for linux process accounting. Google should help you out pretty fast. Maybe sys-process/acct too. |
