Basically, a box with Windows on it, got Linux on another partition. It uses grub boot loader. grub boots fine, linux boots fine ,but when i try to go to windows from grub it gives me "Error loading operating system". WHen i change access mode in the bios from auto to LBA, and reboot, grub doesnt come up, but it goes directly to windows. What the hell?

| Are you sure you dont have windows cd in the drive so th pc can't boot from hdd , looks for cd and boots windows cd, which in turn boots first found windows xp partition? |

Yes, im sure about that, there is no cd in the drive. I should also say that when i switch from LBA to CHS, grub loads again, linux will, but windows wont.
