Hello i have 8 machines (all the same) which we all want to use with gentoo (as a desktop).
I have installed one machine and it tok about 20 hours, i do not want to spend another 160 hours to install them all
Is there a possibility to copy the Hard drive of the installed machine on the other machines like making an iso or so
Best regards

Only if all the systems are identical. In some computer companies, what they do is install the software on one system, set it up to ask the user some questions [including serial number if the evil OS needs one] on first boot, and burn that image into every hard disk of every machine in that series. |

If you want to try it anyway, there is a little program I used once used that did an image copy with a ftp server set up on one machine. It was called G4U. Just google for it, it worked for me.
