 this is weired:
torsmo is up & running, but there is no .torsmorc file ( i know it is a hidden file...).
so i can't configure it?

A sample file is stored in /usr/share/doc/torsmo-x.x.x/torsmorc.sample.gz
Copy it to your home dir (as root) and change the permissions, then open it with your favorite editor as your regular user, modify it and save it as .torsmorc
Restart torsmo and your changes will show

i would suggest, since torsmo is very dead, you check out conky... it is completely backwards compatible with torsmo (as in, you can plug your config in to it) but i woudl suggest you check it out... look at either/both of the links in my sig.

thanks, will do so, but right now i'm struggling with xdm configs...
(btw taken from 'sonatine' - my favorit takeshi kitano movie - forgiveness pls  )
