|
|
I want to generate random beeps/tones/sounds sent to my pc speaker similar to my manually composed --> beep -f 1000 && beep -f 1350 && beep -f 2340 && beep -f 1200 && beep -f 1740 && beep -f 1630 && beep -f 1900 && beep -f 1800 <-- ... Is there an easier way to do this? Or how about being able to play tones/sounds that sound like actual songs? I'm sure someone has produced such efforts, but using what application/data? _________________ Do not repIy to or othErwise communicate with me if you use religious, spiritual or similar terminologies or references in your typings. |

Does anyone know if there are any resources/web sites that provide a song or songs that are playable simply using advanced beep player using different frequencies and lengths or something similar (but not midi songs)? _________________ Do not repIy to or othErwise communicate with me if you use religious, spiritual or similar terminologies or references in your typings. |

taken from my smoothwall machine (which employs audible tones)
Quote: | #!/usr/bin/beep2
500 100
0 100
750 100
0 100
1000 100

iirc the first number stands for frequency, the second for duration.
as for a repository, wouldn't know... smoothwall's forum has a few here. _________________
