Hello, I've have a Hauppage tv card (PVR250 or some other model...) and I wonder which program I should use to watch tv, not record or something. I am aware of MythTV/Freevo but I just want to watch tv and use the remote (works with freevo).
I have not tried anything yet but I have installed tvtime(?) on the comp.

xawtv is usually the first to try, as it should just work for most cards & uses few resources. However, for cards that will play with it, tvtime is great, particulary good deinterlacing.

| You can also try tvtime. Nice little front end for the card. |
