I'm not sure if this belongs to the desktop forum or hardware, but I know its something in the XF86Config file. I've added a 2nd monitor to my video card, I'm not really that interested in using it in linux, but for some reason, when I start X, my display's switch (it goes to my 2nd monitor), I'd rather it just go to my main monitor. The video card is a VisionTek GeForce 4 4400. My main monitor is connected to the DVI output, the other monitor is connected to the VGA output. Can someone give me some idea's on how to get past this. I've been googling for a while and am not having any luck. I'm not that interested in a dual monitor display, unless its just as easy to setup. From what I've been reading, alot of people have trouble with it. Thank for whatever light you can shed on this!!

What does your XF86Config file look like? It sounds like you may have specified the wrong video card.
