I have changed /etc/rc.conf.
I have added kdm.
Should I add a link to /usr/kde/3.4/bin/kdm to start kdm automatically or is there another better way to start kdm?

You should add /etc/init.d/xdm to your startup : Code: | rc-update add xdm default |
The setting in rc.conf specifies which *dm to use, so it will normally start kdm |
