Guilty Gear, anyone?

I wonder if anyone is a fan of Guilty Gear series?
Guilty Gear (most recent being Guilty Gear X2:#Reloaded, and wierd as hell 4-player GG:Isuka) is a 2D fighing game, that is as similar to Street Fighter as Space Shuttle is similar to brothers Wright's airplane. GG has very sleek graphics, odd group of original characters, also no two a even remotly similar to each other in look or play, an in-depth system (for example your 'super' meter can be also used to cancel any move into idle animation, thus allowing you to combo off a slow move, or cancelling move into guard when needed), and so on. Also the game has very deep and extensive story, that is nothing like 'well these guys are fighting in the tournament'. In story mode you have massive dialogues between each fight, and story branches based on how you fight.
It is generally a game for arcades of course. Wastes your quarters like nothing else =)

P.S. on a related note -- anyone managed to get GGX2#R running on Linux? Cuz they do have the Windows version.

P.P.S. my avvie is a humorous/cartoony version of one of the characters. In game itself charas are drawn is much more 'realistic' manner if that word applies.

i love guilty gear!
i can't get ggxx to install on my computer in linux, and when i copied a windows install, it just crashes as soon as i run it.
it saddens me.

i hope someone has better luck.

The only thing I know about Guilty Gear is Bridget... (because of the cult following on imageboards like 4chan). Yeah, I know, it's a sad thing....

looks sweet, did they make any for the new gen of consoles or pc, all I have is xbox and gamecube... had a dreamcast but stupidly sold it. that sysmtem was awesome, almost as cool as teh sega saturn lol.

i use a ps2 for gg fixes. the xbox has it too, but i'd never support the xbox.

Isn't there a guilty gear for PS1? You can always buy a copy of the game and play it with ePSXe like I do with several games. Well, that is... until PS3 gets released.
