Ive got a problem which, while it isnt devastating, is starting to annoy me. I'd put up with this sort of annoyance in windows, but ive come to look for perfection in my Gentoo im sure you all understand.
I've been burning some data DVD's in K3b, they burn fine, but when i create a data dvd project, and go into the 'burn' dialogue, and tell it to create an image file before burning and NOT to delete it, it deletes it anyway.
Anybody else had this problem? It seems like a bit of a silly bug for the obviously savvy k3b team to have missed |

wow, 2 minute reply
currently k3b 0.12.2
i recently upgraded from 0.12.1, where i had the same problem. ive more or less updated k3b with the releases the past month, but the problem has persisted.
right now, im compiling kdelibs 3.4.1 (now im on 3.4.0), just incase that has something to do with it |

I tested it with the same version and it does the same thing.
Easy to overlook probably because not a common thing to do.
Usually once you burn the DVD you don't need the image, especially when it can use up to 4.7G or space.
If you wanted more copies you would set it in K3B, not save the image to use to make the next CD.
But it is an error either way. Maybe you should post to the K3B site and/or bugs.gentoo.org and mention this behaviour. |

Will do,
The reason i use it is that sometimes for certain projects i like to burn a test on a dvdrw to test if it works properly, then come back to the image later if it works and re-burn it
I'll see what i can do about reporting it, and i'll post back the reply i get |
