SOLVED!!! ibidn fails to compile as dependency to kdebas

i'm getting readouts of

this could be related to the errors i'm getting about blackdown-jre when loading firefox

i've tried doing several things including re-emerging blackdown-jre and different versions of libidn, i tried unmasking the newest jre but i don't think my architecture is masked because it continues to emerge 1.3.1.

bump
use="-java" emerge libidn
iit emerges fine but i don't know if it will function properly without java


This leads me to believe theres a problem with my blackdown although the configure test's it out and it says it's fine
fire fox complains that theres an unknown weird string when trying to load the plugin and java does not work in firefox

tried re-emerging both the jdk and jre of blackdown.


I'm on ppc architecture i'm unable to unmask any of the newer builds of blackdown

ok i switched to ibm-jdk/ibm-jre and the problem is solved it will compile with + java

Must be some weird issue with ppc and blackdown 1.3.1
