hello,
i want this partition to be writable for users. the corresponding line in fstab is:
| Code: | | /dev/hdb5 /home/rupi/media ext3 noatime,user,exec,user_xattr 0 0 |
however, the partition is read-only after boot, also when i'm root. when i unmount it as root and mount it again as normal user everything is fine.
any ideas what the problme might be? |

| the problem was, that the filesystem was demaged. fsck.ext3 fixed it again. |
