Hi all,
I'm getting ready to replace the cdrom drive in my gentoo amd64 box with a cdrw. Does anybody know what items I might need to reconfigure? Can it be as simple as pulling out the old cdrom and installing the new cdrw then emerging k3b?
Thanks! |

That should work. Udev will detect the new drive. You will, of course, have to setup your k3b/software, to tell it that you have an r/w. |
