Well now I don't have the internet on my gentoo computer is imposible to emerge at this stage.
ivtv is compiled and working, I can do a cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg and it does it fine only showing static.
How how can I get the channels? I heard about p-tune but I can't find anywhere to download it. Is it just a script I can get off someone? I have the perl things installed from another emerge that wanted it all. |

emerge media-tv/ivtv-ptune
then run ptune.pl <channel_number>
Or you can go directly to http://ivtv.sourceforge.net and download the tarball.
ptune.pl is in the utils directory once you unzip and untar the download.
Remember if you are using an external cable or satellite tuner box as input you will want to run
ptune.pl 3 _________________ My boy, my boy! |
