| When using Metacity 2.4.34 with mouse focus, moving the mouse from inside a window, up to the title bar causes the window to loose the focus and the titlebar to change colour. This is really weird and annoying. It this happening to anyone else? It didn't used to happen in earlier gnome/metacity. |

I was having the same problem until just today. I've done two things today which may have resulted in the fix:
1. I had metacity-setup installed. I realized that I don't really need that because gnome2 pretty much has all the configuration options that metacity-setup offered. So I unmerged metacity-setup.
2. I went to the gnome2 "Windows" Desktop Preference. In there, I simply unchecked and then rechecked the option "Select windows when the mouse moves over them".
I believe item 2 is the one that fixed it, but I'm not quite sure. I hope this helps! |
