I've tried to get aterm to use pseudo transparency with aterm versions 0.4.2 and 1.0.0 by running aterm -tr and it doesn't work. I made sure that aterm was compiled with transparency support.
When it starts up it looks like it is working but as soon as I move it the aterm window goes black. I've tried this on 2 different machines.
I have used feh, hsetroot and Esetroot to set the root window background and they make no difference.
Eterm pseudo transparency works fine which makes it even more frustrating because I don't want to use Eterm.
Has anyone come across this problem? _________________ For since in the wisdom of God the world by its wisdom did not know God, God was pleased to save those who believe by the foolishness of preaching. |

This isn't a really helpful answer, but i had that problem a couple of months ago, when I tried to use a new bgpicture. Is the trans. still missing when using other background pics? _________________ printf("format string what?"); |
