...like this:
Code:
---> gtkballs

(gtkballs:19383): GLib-CRITICAL **: file ghash.c: line 254 (g_hash_table_lookup_extended): assertion `hash_table != NULL' failed
Segmentation fault

some extra gdb info:
Code:
(gdb) bt
#0  0x407ca320 in XSetClipMask () from /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6

Hi NePhie,

Have a look at this thread.

https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=19194&highlight=fonts.

It might be what your after. Failing that, read on;

I had the same problem until about two minutes ago when I remembered that, a few months ago, I had set the following line in my .bashrc so I could get AA in abiword.

Code:

export LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libgdkxft.so

I have removed that and all my gnome stuff seems to work again (although I havn't fully tested as I am at work)!

Hope that helps.
