Hello
Have anyone been able to get pcmcia-support working on the fs-series?
The laptop hangs without any info when starting /etc/init.d/pcmcia (or just doing cardmgr -f).
I've tried alot of suggestions I found when i googled. Using noapic, nomce, pci=acpi at boot. Excluding some irq's in /etc/pcmcia/config.opts , trying different PCIC's etc. Nothing seems to work.
So has anyone been able to get it working?
Im using the latest pcmcia-cs (sys-apps/pcmcia-cs-3.2.8-r1).
Cardbus-support is working btw. But not anything that needs pcmcia-cs (16-bit cards).
Sincerely, Sebastian H |

After alot of digging i found that changing this in /etc/pcmcia/config.opts fixes the problem.
include port 0x100-0x4ff, port 0x800-0x8ff, port 0xc00-0xcff

include port 0x100-0x4ff, port 0xc00-0xcff |
